New Delhi, PTI. Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate in the international market. In the national capital, gold on Thursday fell by Rs 133 to Rs 50,719 per 10 grams, from Rs 50,852 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. At the same time, silver also declined by Rs 664 to Rs 59,781 per kg from Rs 60,445 per kg in the previous trade.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said spot price of 24 carat gold in Delhi declined by Rs 133 due to fall in Comex Gold prices. In the international market, gold remained steady at USD 1,833 an ounce and silver at USD 21.24 an ounce.
Silver futures fall
On Thursday, silver futures fell by Rs 453 to Rs 60,195 per kg as participants reduced their bets. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July was trading lower by Rs 453, or 0.75 per cent, at Rs 60,195 per kg in 10,350 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 0.78 per cent lower at USD 21.33 an ounce in New York.

Gold prices on Thursday fell by Rs 102 to Rs 50,802 per 10 grams in futures trade as bid speculators reduced their trade sizes. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August traded lower by Rs 102, or 0.2 per cent, at Rs 50,802 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 12,327 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to offloading of positions by participants. Globally, gold was trading 0.12 percent lower at $ 1,836.20 an ounce in New York.
